A family of three, on the Upper West Side, needs to hire an experienced Part-time Housekeeper/Household Assistant. Responsibilities include: detailed housekeeping and daily upkeep, family laundry, household organization, simple meal preparation, and walking and feeding the family dog., household errands as time allows, serve as a friendly and responsible adult presence in the home for the family’s school-aged daughter in the afternoons, and should be comfortable jumping in as an extra pair of hands wherever needed to help keep the household running smoothly. They may occasionally assist with a school or activity pickup or other light child-related support as needed. The family is currently in the process of renovating their primary home and will be staying in a temporary apartment within the same neighborhood during the renovation, so some flexibility throughout the transition will be appreciated. They expect to return to their primary residence in January 2027. The schedule guarantees 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday from approximately 4 to 8pm. Salary $45/hour. Mid-September start.
