A family, in Westchester County, needs to hire a calm, emotionally intelligent, and highly dependable Companion/ Housekeeper/ Cook to provide thoughtful day-to-day support and companionship. Primary responsibilities include: providing companionship and emotional reassurance, accompanying the principal to appointments and outings, assisting with errands and shopping, coordinating household vendors and service appointments, helping maintain organization throughout the home, handling light housekeeping and laundry, preparing simple meals, managing deliveries and household inventories, light administrative support (reminders, answering calls, assisting with emails, and scheduling appointments), and ensuring the residences remain tidy, comfortable, and running smoothly. The family employs additional full-time support so this will be supplementing her schedule with the likelihood that hours may expand in the future. There is a secondary home in Manhattan that this person may spend some time at. This is an excellent opportunity for a patient, discreet, and compassionate professional with prior experience supporting seniors and/or individuals with dementia or Alzheimer’s disease. The ideal candidate will provide calm, respectful, and non-intrusive support while helping maintain routines, dignity, and independence. Strong judgment, emotional steadiness, and a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation are required. Schedule is Tuesday and Wednesday from approximately 8am – 8pm, with the potential to offer an additional workday or expand the schedule in the future. Salary range: $35–$40/hour. Immediate start.
